Welcome to FanFicNow

Hey, I'm Goldo — the student behind FanFicNow. This is the first post on the blog, so I wanted to use it to explain why this site exists and what I'm hoping to do with it.

I've read and written fan fiction for years, and every time I went looking for a good place to do it, I ran into the same two problems: the popular sites felt stuck in the past, and the newer ones were so full of ads I'd lose the story in the clutter. FanFicNow is my attempt at building the site I actually wanted to use — clean, modern, and free of banner ads and pop-ups.

Right now this is a one-person project. That means updates happen at a student's pace rather than a startup's, but it also means every bit of feedback reaches the person actually building the site. If something's broken, missing, or could just be better, I want to hear about it.

This blog is where I'll share updates as the site grows — new features, milestones, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look at what's coming next. Thanks for reading, and for being here this early.
